CHRISTIAN & JESSICA: A BOHO CHIC WEDDING AMONG THE OLIVE TREES
Christian and Jessica are a very sweet couple coming from Switzerland. Madly in love with our beautiful country, where they usually spend their holidays, they chose me for the organization of their wedding. I was truly honored and happy, because together, we created a wedding cared for in every little detail. Nothing was left to chance and the result was truly impressive and harmonious. inspired by the landscape that surrounded us, we decided to have the olive tree as the “leitmotiv” of the whole wedding, starting from the invitations.
The wedding took place with a civil ceremony at the Antica Dimora del Turco, an ancient courtyard surrounded by vineyards and olive trees, located between Lake Garda and the city of Verona. The ceremony was celebrated in a street inside the location framed by cypresses and ancient olive trees. As seats we thought of hay bales covered in vintage linen fabrics enriched by a wooden arch with drapery of raw linen and white and olive flowers.
The bride wore a very soft and slipped Pronovias dress with a worked bodice that perfectly suited the context. For men, the dress code was a blue dress with suspenders and bow ties!
The aperitif area was set up with pallets and wooden boxes. Next to it we created a relaxation area with hammocks and delicious crochet dream catchers that came down from the trees. The music of a talented singer with a very soft voice entertained the guests creating a very relaxed and cheerful atmosphere.
For the dinner, we chose a long imperial table of raw wood and beautiful cross chairs.
The newlyweds’ chairs were decorated with an ecru drape and white and olive flowers.
Open bar and sweet table had been set up with barrels from a wine cellar in our area.
Italian lights, candles and luminous writings have warmed the evening atmosphere making it truly magical.
